Abstract:
The present application discloses a folding assembly and an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a folding device and a flexible display screen, the folding device being used for bearing the flexible display screen, and comprising a first housing, a second housing, and the folding assembly. By means of the movement of the folding assembly, the first housing and the second housing can be relatively unfolded to be in an open state or relatively folded to be in a closed state. The folding assembly comprises a main shaft, a first fixing frame, a first transmission member, a second fixing frame, a second transmission member, and a stop block. When the first housing and the second housing are in the open state, the included angle between the first housing and the second housing does not exceed a preset value by means of a stop effect of a first stop surface of the stop block on a first stop end surface of the first transmission member, and a stop effect of a second stop surface of the stop block on a second stop end surface of the second transmission member, such that the folding device is prevented from being excessively folded, thereby preventing the flexible display screen from being excessively pulled, and prolonging the service life of the flexible display screen.
