Abstract:
Disclosed is a folding device with a supporting function. The folding device comprises two folding pieces matching each other, wherein the two folding pieces are movably connected by means of a hinge and are folded towards the same side; and the ends of the folding pieces that are adjacent to each other are respectively provided with a hole. The folding device further comprises a leaf spring, wherein the leaf spring is in the shape of a cambered sheet, with a concave surface and a convex surface being formed; two ends of the longer edges of the leaf spring are respectively inserted into the holes of the two folding pieces; and the direction of the concave surface is opposite the direction that the folding pieces are folded in. In the present invention, an elastic web is replaced with the leaf spring in the shape of a cambered sheet, and when the leaf spring is straightened, the leaf spring is in point contact with the hinge; since the leaf spring is not of a straight structure and a support force thereof is stronger than that of the elastic web made of the same material, the support force of the leaf spring is much stronger than that of the elastic web; and when the leaf spring is folded by an external force and same is in line contact with the hinge, the elastic force level of the leaf spring is the same as that of the elastic web, such that the elastic force of the leaf spring is suddenly reduced, in order to facilitate folding thereof.
