Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electrode assembly and an electrode assembly manufactured by the method, the method comprising the steps of: forming monocells by sequentially stacking in a discontinuous structure, on a continuous length separation film, a first electrode, a separator, and a second electrode having the opposite polarity to the first electrode which are cut from winding rolls by predetermined sizes, such that a folding process can be performed immediately after a lamination process without a separate preparation process, thereby simplifying the electrode assembly manufacturing process; bonding the stacked monocells in a lamination device; placing one bi-cell apart from a monocell at a folding start portion on the separation film by an interval required for folding; and folding in one direction from the bi-cell.
