Abstract:
Folding glasses having a lens protection function. The folding glasses comprise two lens mounting frames (1). Back faces of the two lens mounting frames (1) are both rotatably connected to temples (2), a coupling plate (27) is connected in a hinged manner between the two lens mounting frames (1), and the two lens mounting frames (1) fold, towards a front face, in two from opposite directions by means of the coupling plate (27). The temples (2) each comprise a first leg section (4) and a second leg section (5) which are hinged to each other, and the first leg sections (4) are hinged to the lens mounting frames (1). Transmission mechanisms which can drive the first leg section (4) and the second leg section (5) to fold when the two lens mounting frames (1) fold in two at the front face are comprised. The transmission mechanisms comprise second transmission wheels (20) fixedly connected to the second leg sections (5) and dual-groove transmission wheels (18) rotatably connected to the first leg sections (4), and the dual-groove transmission wheels (18) and the second transmission wheels (20) are in transmission connection by means of second transmission belts (19). A drive mechanism which can drive the dual-groove transmission wheels (18) to rotate when the two lens mounting frames (1) fold in two at the front face is comprised. Two faces of the folded lenses are protected by other structures, so that the two faces of the lenses are less prone to coming into contact with other flat surfaces. When picked up or placed down with a hand, the two temples can be pinched for picking up and placing down, thus preventing fingers from directly coming into contact with the lenses, and thereby preventing fingerprint contamination on the lens faces from affecting vision and lens hygiene.
