Abstract:
The present invention relates to a food composition for promoting bone length growth and increasing bone density, containing a composite composed of a safflower seed extract, a boswellia extract, and a Scutellaria baicalensis extract as active ingredients. The food composition of the present invention contains a composite composed of natural extracts as an active ingredient, and thus is nontoxic, has no side effects, and is harmless to the human body. In addition, the food composition of the present invention may help promote height growth of children in the growth phase because the food composition has an excellent effect of increasing osteoblasts, promoting activation and differentiation of osteoblasts, and increasing the expression of IGF-1 gene and BMP-2 gene.
