A food comprising a polyphenol exhibiting a body fat reducing effect, especially a polyphenol derived from an extract from the bark of pine or derived from a product of kudzu flower treatment together with &agr -lipo acid or its derivative. This food exhibits an excellent body fat reducing effect.
