Abstract:
This food dough piece transfer device includes: a conveyance device that conveys a plurality of dough pieces in a conveyance direction; a holding unit for holding one dough piece; and a movement device that moves the holding unit from a first position to a second position of the conveyance device in order to transfer one dough piece. The holding unit has a holding member configured to generate a negative pressure that draws the dough piece upward. The holding member has a cylindrical body, and the lower surface of the cylindrical body includes an opposing surface that holds the dough piece in a contactless state and a protrusion section that holds the dough piece in a state of contact. A vent for venting air outward in a radial direction is provided to the opposing surface, and the protrusion section has a shape that facilitates the flow of air outward in the radial direction.
