Abstract:
The invention provides a food and drink for promoting hair growth and a pharmaceutical composition for promoting hair growth containing an extract of a plant of the Asteraceae family or a component thereof, specifically, a food and drink for promoting hair growth and a pharmaceutical composition for promoting hair growth containing an extract of feverfew or parthenolide. Further, the invention provides a method for promoting hair growth using an extract of a plant of the Asteraceae family or a component thereof, particularly an extract of feverfew or sesquiterpene lactone, specifically, parthenolide; and so on.
