Abstract:
The invention relates to food packaging (1) for a vegetable or dairy product (4), such as an individual portion of cheese, comprising two hollow shells (2, 3) that are sealed to each other around their peripheral edges and define an internal cavity for receiving the product. The packaging is opened by peeling off one shell from the other. The two shells correspond to: • - a lower shell (3) having two gripping means (7, 9) extending from its peripheral edge (6) in the mating plane in two opposite directions and arranged on either side of the X-axis, the gripping means being integral with the lower shell; • - an upper shell (2) having at least one tab (8) for peeling off said upper shell from the lower shell, each tab (8, 10) extending from the peripheral edge (5) in the mating plane and being superimposed on one of the gripping means when the packaging is closed, each tab being integral with the upper shell.
