Abstract:
The present invention relates to a food waste treatment apparatus, which cuts long and large food waste by means of a cutter to facilitate decomposition by microorganisms of a microbial treatment device and which facilitates the movement of the food waste cut by means of the cutter to the microbial treatment device, and, more specifically, to a food waste treatment device provided below the drain hole of a sink, comprising: a microbial treatment device, which stirs, in a stirring chamber formed therein, food waste that has been discharged through the drain hole of the sink and microorganisms, and thus treats food waste through microbial decomposition; a food waste movement member provided between the drain hole of the sink and the stirring chamber to guide, to the stirring chamber, the food waste that has been discharged through the drain hole of the sink; and a cutter provided inside the food waste movement member to cut food waste.
