Abstract:
A formula inputting method and system for interactive formula typesetting software, which belong to the field of printing and typesetting technology. The method includes: classifying and nominating operators or signs, establishing a mapping relation table between the names of the operators or the signs and the operators or the signs; inputting a name of the operators or the signs in a character inputting area of a formula inputting method interface; according to the mapping relation, displaying the operators or the signs matched with the input name in a formula display area of the formula inputting method interface, selecting the operators or the signs and inserting them into a type face. This method can rapidly input a formula and improve the efficiency of formula typesetting.
