Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application is a formula recognition method. In one example, the method may be executed by a first device. The first device may obtain an image to be recognized that comprises a formula, and then process said image to obtain a global image feature and a local image feature. Furthermore, the global image feature and the local image feature may be processed to obtain the formula comprised in said image. Therefore, in embodiments of the present application, during recognition of the formula in said image, the local image feature of said image is combined. Hence, even if characters comprised in the formula in said image are small, the formula in said image can also be accurately recognized using the solutions of the embodiments of the present application. Therefore, the formula in said image can be accurately recognized using this solution.
