Abstract:
The present invention relates to a foveated rendering-related concentration level-based ray tracing method and device, the method comprising the steps of: determining the position of a center portion of a particular scene while rendering the particular scene at a first resolution to generate a first image; and repeatedly performing selective rendering through adaptive adjustment of a threshold according to the distances between the position of the center portion and candidate pixels existing between sampling pixels while rendering the first image at a second resolution greater than the first resolution to generate a second image.
