Abstract:

Disclosed in the present invention is a fractional-turn planar transformer, and a converter. In the fractional-turn planar transformer, circuit structures are provided between two adjacent sections of secondary winding on a first surface and between two adjacent sections of secondary winding on a second surface, and each comprise a synchronous rectifier tube and a capacitor, a source of the synchronous rectifier tube being connected to a ground terminal of the capacitor; positive potential terminals, which are oppositely arranged on the first surface and the second surface, of the two capacitors in the circuit structures are connected to each other; on the first surface, a drain of the synchronous rectifier tube is connected to a dotted terminal of an adjacent section of secondary winding, and the positive potential end of the capacitor is connected to a non-dotted terminal of the other adjacent section of secondary winding; and on the second surface, a drain of the synchronous rectifier tube is connected to a non-dotted terminal of an adjacent section of secondary winding, and the positive potential end of the capacitor is connected to a dotted terminal of the other adjacent section of secondary winding. The present invention aims to reduce the loss and volume of a planar transformer, thereby achieving higher efficiency and power density.
