Abstract:
The present invention is a fragrance-releasing agent which contains a silicic acid ester compound represented by formula (1).
Formula (1): Si(OR1)(OR2)(OR3)(OR4)
(In the formula, each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-30 carbon atoms, an aryl group or the like; one of R1, R2, R3 and R4 represents a residue that is obtained by removing a phenolic hydroxyl group from 4-(3-oxobutyl)phenol; and two or three of the others represent residues that are obtained by removing a hydroxyl group from secondary or tertiary alcohols.)
