Abstract:
A secure star coupler (300) in a communication network according to a time trigger method based on time slots, is provided with: a plurality of transceiver units (301a, 301b, 301c, 301d) that are respectively connected to a plurality of braches and that transmit and receive signals; a routing table holding unit (305) that holds a prescribed rule indicating the correspondence between the time slots and the branches; and a routing unit (302) that executes routing in order to transfer a signal received from a first branch to another branch unless a non-transfer condition is satisfied. The non-transfer condition includes a case where the prescribed rule is disregarded for the first branch, and a case where routing for transferring a signal received from a second branch which is separated from the first branch, to another branch has been already started in a time slot.
