Abstract:
[Problem] To accomplish freeze vacuum drying in a short amount of time and to reduce costs. [Solution] A freeze vacuum drying device comprising a spraying unit, a pipe unit, a heating unit, and a collection unit. The spraying unit sprays a raw material liquid into a vacuum container. The pipe unit has a nonlinear shape, has a first opening end and a second opening end, and traps frozen particles from the first opening end, said frozen particles being formed by self-freezing of liquid droplets formed by spraying the raw material liquid into the vacuum container. The heating unit carries out sublimation drying of the frozen particles by heating the frozen particles inside the pipe unit, said frozen particles traveling from the first opening end toward the second opening end inside the pipe unit due to kinetic energy produced during spraying. The collection unit collects the dried particles which are formed by sublimation drying of the frozen particles in the pipe unit and are released from the second opening end of the pipe unit.
