Abstract:
This invention is applied to a frequency converter for use in a receiver. The frequency converter comprises: an LO signal generator (11) that generates and outputs an LO signal; and a mixer (10) that multiplies a received signal, which has been frequency-limited to a working band used by the receiver, by the LO signal, thereby frequency-converting and outputting the received signal. The phase resolution of the LO signal generator (11) is variable, and the signal gain in each phase value of the LO signal in the frequency converter is variable.
