Abstract:
A frequency generator, relating to the technical field of communications. The frequency generator comprises an N-order frequency mixing module and an N-order comb spectrum generation module, wherein N is greater than or equal to 2. A comb spectrum generation module is configured to provide, to a frequency mixing module of a same order, a first-order fundamental wave signal group generated on the basis of a second reference signal; and second reference signals on which the generated fundamental wave signal groups of different orders are based are different. A first-order frequency mixing module generates a first-order frequency mixing signal according to a first-order fundamental wave signal group and a first reference signal, wherein the first-order fundamental wave signal group comprises a plurality of harmonic signals with a first frequency as a fundamental wave frequency. An i-th-order frequency mixing module generates an i-th-order frequency mixing signal according to an i-th-order fundamental wave signal group and an (i-1)-th-order frequency mixing signal, wherein the i-th-order fundamental wave signal group comprises a plurality of harmonic signals with an i-th frequency as a fundamental wave frequency, and 2≤i ≤N.
