Abstract:
The present invention is a frequency-selective reflector plate for reflecting electromagnetic waves in a particular frequency band in a direction different from a regular reflection direction. The frequency-selective reflector plate has: a reflecting member for reflecting the electromagnetic waves; and a dielectric layer that is disposed at an incident side of the reflecting member on which the electromagnetic waves are incident, that has an irregularity structure in which a plurality of unit structures having a thickness distribution of a thickness increasing in a prescribed direction are arranged, and that transmits the electromagnetic waves. Each of the unit structures of the dielectric layer has a plurality of cell regions the thicknesses of which differ from one another. The dielectric layer has, as the unit structure, at least a first unit structure having three or more of the cell regions the thicknesses of which differ from one another. The reflection direction of the electromagnetic waves is controlled by controlling the relative reflection phase distribution of the electromagnetic waves by means of the thickness distribution of the dielectric layer.
