Abstract:
The invention relates to a frequency spectrum generator (100) having a detunable local oscillator (101) for emitting a local oscillator signal (102), a down-mixer (103) for down-mixing a received antenna signal (104) with the local oscillator signal (102) to receive a down-mixed signal (105), a filter (106) for filtering out a mirror frequency portion of the antenna signal (104) in the down-mixed signal (105), a signal level detector (107) for detecting a signal level of the down-mixed signal (105) at an intermediate frequency (fIF), and a control (108) for sequentially actuating the local oscillator (101) and the signal level detector (107) in order to sense a frequency spectrum of the antenna signal (104) from a sequence of scan frequencies.
