Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a fresh water generation method, which is a reverse osmosis membrane fresh water production method suitable for small scale fresh water production such as for emergencies, and particularly a method, which is of high quality and in which the reverse osmosis membrane is not easily damaged. The present invention is a fresh water generation method wherein: semipermeable membrane processing is performed on the water being processed using a semipermeable membrane separation unit (9) to separate the water into a first concentrated water and a first permeate; the first permeate obtained is collected in a processed water tank (10); and subsequently, after the semipermeable membrane separation unit (9) has been rinsed, semipermeable membrane processing of the first permeate is performed using the semipermeable membrane separation unit (9) to separate the water into a second concentrated water and a second permeate.
