Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a friction material which is capable of suppressing abnormal noises when the friction material gets wet with water without requiring a special step (for example, a coating step) during the production process. The present invention relates to a friction material which comprises a friction regulating material, a binder and a fiber base material, and which contains, as the friction regulating material, a phosphoric acid salt-based dispersant.
