Abstract:
A friction stir welding method for joining materials to be joined comprises a step in which nitrogen is introduced into the interior of the materials to be joined by supplying nitrogen while melting the materials to be joined, and a step in which the sections of the materials to be joined into which nitrogen has been introduced are friction stir welded. Further, a friction stir welding device for joining materials to be joined is provided with a heat source for melting the materials to be joined, a nitrogen supply source for supplying nitrogen to the melted sections of the materials to be joined in order to introduce nitrogen into the interior of the materials to be joined, and a friction stirring tool for friction stir welding the sections of the materials to be joined into which nitrogen has been introduced.
