Abstract:

A front work device (4) is prevented from interfering with a front guard (51) provided in front of a driver's seat.　A work machine comprises: a machine body; a driver's seat mounted on the machine body; a front work device (4) disposed in front of the driver's seat and set off to one side in the machine-body width direction in relation to the center part of the driver's seat, the front work device (4) being able to swing up and down; and a front guard (51) provided in front of the driver's seat. The front guard (51) has a first frame member (59) disposed in front of and on the one side of the driver's seat, and a second frame member (60) disposed in front of and on the other side from the one side of the driver's seat. The first frame member (59) has a main rod part (59A) constituting a section from the upper part to the lower part of the main frame member (59), and positioned rearward of the front work device (4). The position of the main rod part (59A) in the machine body longitudinal direction is formed closer to the driver's seat side than the second frame member (60).
