Abstract:
When this front passenger's seat airbag 1 is completely inflated, recesses 8, 9 extending in the vertical direction are formed on both, left and right sides of an occupant-facing surface 2. A protrusion 10 between the recesses 8, 9 restrains the occupant's head and left and right protrusions 11, 12 restrain the occupant's shoulders. If the occupant restrained is of a small stature, the recesses 8, 9 are maintained.
