The present application relates to the technical field of dehumidifying devices, in particular to a frostless operating method for a dehumidifier and the dehumidifier. The frostless operating method for the dehumidifier comprises the following steps of: S100, provide an adjustable flow device (20) mounted in a dehumidifier body (10) and connected to an evaporator (30) of the dehumidifier body (10); S200, provide a control module (40) mounted in the dehumidifier body (10) and electronically connected to the adjustable flow device (20); S300, provide a temperature monitoring module (50) mounted to the evaporator (30) and electronically connected to the control module (40); S400, when the surface temperature of the evaporator (30) is less than or equal to minus 1°C, the control module (40) adjusts the adjustable flow device (20) to increase the flow of high temperature refrigerant. The temperature of the evaporator (30) rises, so that slight frost on the evaporator (30) is eliminated in time and the occurrence of frost on the evaporator (30) during subsequent operation is avoided.
