Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a fryer for cooking ingredients in an electric field formation space, which is easy to introduce and has good operability. [Solution] This fryer comprises an oil storage tank unit including an oil storage tank, and a basket formed from a metallic steel and immersible in the oil storage tank, with the inside surface of the oil storage tank being configured at least in part from a metal material plate. The oil storage tank unit is provided with: an oil storage tank-side fixing part for arranging the basket in the oil storage tank without conducting to the aforementioned inside surface; and an energizing unit comprising energizing electrodes which are arranged on the top of the oil storage tank on the side facing the work side of the oil storage tank unit, and which are insulated from the aforementioned inside surface that is for conducting an alternating current to the basket arranged in the oil storage tank. The basket is provided with: a basket-side fixing part which, in combination with the oil storage tank-side fixing unit, arranges the basket in the oil storage tank without conducting electricity to the aforementioned inside surface; and a power receiving unit for receiving power from the energizing electrodes and conducting this to the metallic steel configuring the basket.
