Abstract:
Disclosed are a fuel cell wherein positional adjustment is possible when single cells are temporarily stacked, and a method for manufacturing the fuel cell. Specifically disclosed is a fuel cell that is composed of a laminate of a membrane-electrode assembly, in which an anode electrode layer and a cathode electrode layer are respectively provided on the surfaces of an electrolyte membrane, and a separator. The fuel cell is characterized in that a self-fusible sealing member is provided on an end portion of the membrane-electrode assembly or the separator. Also specifically disclosed is a method for manufacturing the fuel cell.
