Abstract:
This fuel cell module is equipped with a storage vessel, a cell stack, a reformer, and an oxygen-containing-gas supply unit. The cell stack comprises a plurality of columnar fuel cells that are arranged in a pre-set arrangement direction, and is housed inside the storage vessel. The reformer is positioned above the cell stack inside the storage vessel, and generates a fuel gas to be supplied to the fuel cells. The oxygen-containing-gas supply unit is positioned so as to face the cell stack and the reformer in the arrangement direction of the fuel cells, and has a gas channel through which the oxygen-containing gas to be supplied to the fuel cells flows from above to below. Furthermore, the oxygen-containing-gas supply unit is configured in a manner such that the gas channel has a first region, and a second region which has a greater channel width in a direction that is perpendicular to the fuel-cell arrangement direction and to the direction in which the oxygen-containing gas flows, relative to the width of the first region.
