Abstract:

The disclosed operating method for a fuel cell and a fuel cell system comprise: a basic operation plan creation part (2) that creates a basic operation plan in which a fuel cell (1) is operated within the scope of a first permitted operating time (e.g. 11 hours) per designated unit period (e.g. 1 day) and/or the lifespan of the fuel cell in number of startups (e.g. 4,000), on the basis of the lifespan of the fuel cell (1) in years (e.g. 10 years) and the lifespan thereof in operating hours (e.g. 40,000 hours); a special operation plan creation part (3) that creates a special operation plan in which the fuel cell (1) is operated within the scope of a second permitted operating time (e.g. 20 hours) per designated unit period (e.g. 1 day) that is longer than the first permitted operating time and/or a second permitted number of startups greater than the first permitted number of startups per same designated unit period; an operating plan selection part (4) that selects between the basic operation plan and the special operation plan; and a fuel cell operating part (5) that operates the fuel cell (1) based on the operating plan selected by the operating plan selection part (4).
