Abstract:
A fuel cell system (1) comprises a fuel cell (4), a storage battery (3), a storage battery control unit (7), a power demand prediction unit (6), and a fuel cell control unit (8). The fuel cell control unit (8): calculates a full charge requirement power amount which is required for full charging of the storage battery (3) by using a residual capacity and a first time point, which is, of time points at which a predicted power demand and a fuel cell output become equal to each other, a time point immediately before a time point at which the power demand becomes maximum; calculates a fuel cell adjustment output by dividing, by a time period from the current time point to the first time point, the full charge requirement power amount; and controls the fuel cell (4) by means of the calculated fuel cell adjustment output.
