Abstract:
A fuel feed device with a plunger pump capable of efficiently discharging generated vapor and cooling fuel by the vapor, comprising a plunger (112), a cylindrical body (111) reciprocatingly storing the plunger (112) and forming a pump chamber P, a suction valve (123) allowing the suction of fuel, and a delivery valve (127) allowing the delivery of fuel. A fuel sump part (150) with a filter (152) is formed integrally with the plunger pump (110) sucking and delivering fuel on the upstream side of the suction valve (123), and a discharge passage (170a) allowing the discharge port (121a) of the cylindrical body (111) to communicate with the fuel sump part (150) is provided to discharge leaked fuel or generated vapor toward the fuel sump part (150). Thus, the vapor can be efficiently discharged and the fuel in the fuel sump part can be cooled by the vapor.
