Abstract:
An element is provided with cylindrical filtration materials (31, 32), and a first frame (41) is disposed on the inside radially of the filtration materials to support the filtration materials from the inside radially. The first frame has defined and formed therein a plurality of openings (41a) for allowing fuel to flow therethrough. A cylindrical second frame (42) is disposed on the inside radially of the first frame. A plurality of ribs (48, 48a, 48b, 448, 548, 648, 848) are arranged between the first frame and the second frame. Each of the ribs is a radially and axially expanding plate-like member and is in contact with the first frame and the second frame. The first frame supports the second frame from the inside radially through the plurality of ribs. The fuel filter has cases (11, 12) for accommodating the element and causing fuel which is to be supplied to an engine, to flow through the element.
