Abstract:
An ECU (30) as a fuel injection control device comprises an injector-driving IC (113) that drives and opens a fuel injection valve (21) by passing a current through a magnetic circuit (56) of the fuel injection valve (21) with a current passage pulse (P1) (S01), and that performs current passage with a current re-passage pulse (P2) after the termination of current passage with said current passage pulse (P1) and thereby dampens the shock at the time of closing the fuel injection valve (21) (S06). The injector-driving IC (113) controls the current re-passage pulse (P2) on the basis of the amount of residual magnetic flux remaining in a magnetic body (a plunger 52 and a fixed core 55) of the fuel injection valve (21) at the time of termination of current passage with said current passage pulse (P1) (S04, S06).
