Abstract:
This fuel injection device includes a control valve (60) and an actuator (70). The actuator (70) opens a discharge port (37) by drawing in the control valve (60) in an opening direction. The fuel injection device is provided with a restricting portion (59) and a stopper (15). The restricting portion (59) is provided further toward a closing direction than a surface of the control valve (60) facing the actuator (70). When the control valve (60) is closed, the stopper (15) faces the restricting portion (59), separated from the restricting portion (59) in the opening direction by a prescribed gap at most equal to a gap in the opening and closing direction between the control valve (60) and the actuator (70). When the control valve (60) is open, the restricting portion (59) abuts on the stopper (15), thereby restricting a maximum amount of lift of the control valve (60).
