Abstract:
Provided is a fuel injection valve that inhibits variations in flow characteristics and achieves both spray atomization and aggregation at a low cost. An injection hole plate (11) having injection holes (12) is attached to the downstream end face (10b) of a valve seat (10), and the downstream end face (10b) is provided with a cavity (15). Injection hole inlets and injection hole outlets are projected vertically on an X-Y plane (N) orthogonal to the valve seat axis. Within the plane (N), the injection hole disposition angles (θ) formed by the straight line (a) passing through the center of the injection hole inlet of a reference injection hole and the valve seat axis and the straight line (b) passing through the center of the injection hole inlet of an injection hole adjacent to the reference injection hole and the valve seat axis are set to be smaller at shorter distances from the Y-axis. Within the plane (N), the wide-angle side fuel return angle (α) formed by the straight line (a) and the straight line (c) passing through the centers of the injection hole inlet and injection hole outlet, satisfy the relationship 90°<α<180°.
