Abstract:
This fuel injection valve is provided with: a movable core (27a) for driving a valve body; a stationary core (25); and a cylindrical body (5) containing both the movable core (27a) and the stationary core (25). The cylindrical body (5) has an annular groove (5h) located on the outer peripheral side of a facing portion facing the movable core (27a) and the stationary core (25), the cylindrical body (5) circumferentially forming a thin-walled section (5i) having a small wall thickness. In a cross-section taken parallel to the center axis (1x) of the fuel injection valve and including the center axis (1x), the thin-walled section (5i) has curved line sections (5x) at the opposite ends thereof in the direction of the center axis (1x), the curved line sections (5x) connecting, by curved lines, the side edges (5h1, 5h2) of the annular groove (5h) and the bottom (portion corresponding to the thinnest wall section (5i0). In the direction of the center axis (1x), each of the curved line sections (5x) is provided in a range extending from the side edge (5h1, 5h2) by a dimension (I) greater than the depth (d) of the annular groove (5h).
