Abstract:
This fuel injection valve is provided with: a fixed core (13) forming a portion of a magnetic circuit along which magnetic flux flows; a movable core (30) which forms a portion of the magnetic circuit, and which is driven by a magnetic force of attraction generated in a gap provided between the movable core and the fixed core; a valve body (20) which performs valve opening by being driven by the movable core, and which opens a injection hole (11a) for injecting fuel; a yoke (15) which forms a portion of the magnetic circuit and inside which the fixed core is disposed; a coil (17) which is disposed in a coil chamber (R) provided between the fixed core and the yoke, and which generates magnetic flux when energized; and an electrically insulating filling resin member (23) filling the coil chamber. The fixed core includes: a cylindrical main body portion (131) having formed therein a core facing surface (131a) facing the movable core; and projecting portions (132, 133, 134) which project from an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical main body portion toward a radially outer side thereof, and which are in contact with the yoke, allowing the magnetic flux to pass. Resin molding flow channels (132h, 134h) allowing molten resin, which will form the filling resin member, to flow into the coil chamber, are formed in the projecting portions, and the length of the projecting portions in a cylindrical centerline direction of the fixed core is set to decrease with increasing distance toward the radially outer side of the fixed core.
