Abstract:
A fuel supply device (1) is provided with a fuel pump (42) and a filter case (43) that accommodates a fuel filter (464). Fuel that is pumped from within a fuel tank (2) by the fuel pump (42) is filtered by the fuel filter (464) and supplied to an internal combustion engine (3) side from within the filter case (43). The filter case (43) comprises: a case main body (430) that has a bottom section and that forms an accommodation chamber (463) for the fuel filter (464); a case cap (431) that covers openings (432a, 432b, 432c) in the case main body (430) as a result of being joined to the case main body (430); and a residual pressure maintenance valve (473) that is provided to the joining boundary (B) of the case main body (430) and the case cap (431) and that maintains the pressure of fuel that is supplied to the internal combustion engine (3) side from within the filter case (43) when the fuel pump (42) is stopped.
