Abstract:
The present invention relates to a functional pillow that includes a cushion member made of viscoelastic gel so as to be able to effectively support the cervical vertebrae and assist in providing sound sleep. The functional pillow comprises a pillow body and a pillow cover that surrounds the pillow body. The pillow body includes: a central head portion at which the head of a user is located; a top head portion at which the top of the head of the user is located; a cervical vertebrae support portion at which the cervical vertebrae of the user is located; and a first cushion member that is disposed on the upper portion of the cervical vertebrae support portion and made of a viscoelastic material, and has a plurality of through-holes. The pillow body is filled with a second cushion member made of a different material from the first cushion member, and the width (D2) of the cervical vertebrae support portion is 25% to 40% of the total width (D1) of the pillow.
