Abstract:
A fundus imaging device comprising: a projector for two-dimensionally scanning and emitting an imaging light beam for fundus imaging; a first optical component for causing a plurality of the imaging light beams emitted at different times from the projector to converge at a first convergence point in the vicinity of the pupil of a subject and then irradiating the retina of the subject with the imaging light beams; a second optical component for causing a plurality of first reflected light beams obtained by reflection of the plurality of imaging light beams by the retina of the subject and transmission of said imaging light beams through the first optical component to converge at a second convergence point; a simulated eye optical system for converting each of the plurality of first reflected light beams to convergent light, the simulated eye optical system being positioned at the second convergence point; a photodetector for detecting the plurality of first reflected light beams transmitted through the simulated eye optical system; and an image generating unit for generating a fundus image on the basis of an output signal from the photodetector.
