Abstract:
According to various embodiments of the present invention, a method of producing bifunctional furan epoxy (BFFE) can produce BFFE by using bio-based monofunctional furan raw material, the method comprising the steps of: conducting a reaction of furfuryl alcohol, formaldehyde, and an acid-base mixture catalyst to synthesize BFFE raw material; and adding epichlorohydrin (ECH), a base catalyst, and a solvent to the BFFE raw material, to synthesize the BFFE.
