Abstract:

The present invention addresses the problem of developing and providing a novel agricultural or horticultural insecticide in view of the fact that in crop production in agriculture, horticulture, etc., damage caused by insect pests, etc. still has been considerable due to, for example, the appearance of insect pests resistant to existing drugs. The present invention relates to a fused heterocyclic compound represented by general formula (1) or a salt thereof. [In general formula (1), Q represents a cyclic group shown by Q-1, Q-2, or Q-3; R5 and R8 each represent a hydrogen atom; R6 or R7 represents a halogen atom or a C1-6 haloalkyl group; and m is 2.]
