Abstract:
A fuzzy C-means-based adaptive energy consumption optimization vehicle clustering method, comprising the following steps: connecting vehicles into an ad hoc network; determining a neighbor list of each vehicle by means of angle-based neighbor detection for the vehicle; determining the number of clusters in vehicle clustering according to an adaptive energy consumption optimization model; dividing the vehicles into clusters by using a fuzzy C-means algorithm; and selecting a cluster head vehicle by using a vehicle moving direction, a weighted mobility value, and an entropy value as measurement standards of a weighted clustering algorithm, and obtaining a stable network by optimizing a cluster head election process. The method improves the stability of a vehicular ad hoc network, balances the power consumption, and reduces the network overhead.
