Abstract:
Power state of a moving object delivered from a character is made alterable depending on the arriving position of the moving object. In the game program, final power state data (F) indicative of the final power state at the final passing position (H3) of a ball thrown by a pitcher character (P) is computed based on the initial power state data (S) of the ball and power variation data (A-D, M) of the ball. Subsequently, intermediate power state data (I) of the ball at an anticipated passing position is computed based on the initial power state data (S) of the ball and the final power state data (F) of the ball. Using image data corresponding, respectively, to the initial power state data (S), the intermediate power state data (I), and the final power state data (F), power state of the ball is displayed continuously at the initial anticipated passing position (H1), an anticipated passing position (H2), and the final passing position (H3).
