CLAIMS

1 . A game table with variable shapes characterized in that it comprises:

- a board with movable holes and

- movable rails or edges positioned on the board, configured to be able to create different shapes with them.

Description:
GAME TABLE WITH VARIABLE SHAPES

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention can be included in the field of games and entertainment, particularly, cue sports. More specifically, the object of the invention relates to a game table with variable shapes with multiple holes (pockets) for increasing the degree of difficulty of the game according to the method agreed upon by the players.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the state of the art several tables for games are known. An example of this is the traditional billiard table, which is rectangular with 6 holes (pockets), being static and having fixed rails.

Other tables for playing billiards have variations such as the poker-type table (patent US4,948,128), elliptical table (patent US5,226,644), variable point table (patent US6.319,141 ), among others.

However, a table with holes for playing that can take different shapes is not known in the state of the art.

Therefore, the present invention provides a new game table with movable rails and holes, such that it can adapt to each specific game.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a game table with holes (pockets) that can adopt different shapes thanks to a mechanism that facilitates changing the edges or rails. Thus, for example, it can have a hexagonal, rectangular or triangular shape based on what is required.

The main objective of the present invention is to provide a mechanism that enables the opponent of the game to move the position of the rails and the slots or holes, creating a greater degree of difficulty for the player.

Therefore, one aspect of the invention relates to a game table with variable shapes characterized in that it comprises:

- a board with movable holes and

- movable rails or edges positioned on the board, configured to be able to create different shapes with them.

In a preferred embodiment, the board is positioned on a support with supporting legs. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The figures represent the following by way of illustration and not limitation:

FIG. 1 shows a front (A), side (B) and panoramic (C) elevation view of the game table with variable shapes with the rails thereof in a hexagonal shape.

FIG. 2 shows a panoramic view of the game table with variable shapes with the rails thereof in a rectangle.

FIG. 3 shows a panoramic view of the game table with variable shapes with the rails thereof in a triangle. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

A detailed description of a preferred exemplary embodiment of the present invention is described below with the help of the attached figures 1 -3 mentioned above.

The following figures are not to scale. The true dimensions for each one of the components can vary according to the needs of the user. The most significant details of the device are highlighted, with the aim of a person who does not have expertise in the subject being able to clearly appreciate the concept.

FIG. 1 is a front (A), side (B) and panoramic (C) elevation view of the game table with variable shapes. The board (1 ) is shown with the rails (2) in a hexagonal shape and with the holes (3) thereof, said board being positioned on a support with supporting legs (4).

FIG. 2. Shows the table with the rails (2) in a rectangular shape.

FIG. 3. shows the table with the rails (2) in a triangular shape.

In FIGs. 2 and 3 the board (1 ) and the holes or pockets (3) can also be seen.
