Abstract:
Unlike existing SSVEP-based systems that use flickering light, according to a gamified rehabilitation system combining brain stimulation which maximizes mirror neuron activation and brain-computer interface (BCI) technology, and a control method thereof which are proposed in the present invention, mirror neurons can be activated through a game video in which a subject body part flickering at a specific frequency of the SSVEP is displayed and a subject body part observed by a user is moved. The interest of the user can be drawn to increase the concentration with which the user watches a video, and active rehabilitative training of the user can be made possible.
