Abstract:
Provided is a system for managing playing cards (4) to which information is added by RFID tags (306) and gaming currency (3) to which information is added by RFID tags (125). The system (500) is provided with: a storage box (200) having integrated therein a card drawer (220) for storing the playing cards (4) and a chip drawer (210) for storing the gaming currency (3); a card RFID reader (601) for reading, from the RFID tags (306), information added to the playing cards (4) stored in the card drawer (220); and a chip RFID reader (701) for reading, from the RFID tags (125), information added to the gaming currency (3) stored in the chip drawer (210). The card RFID reader (601) and the chip RFID reader (701) read the information from each of the RFID tags (306, 125) using different frequencies.
