Abstract:
A gap measurement device (2) and a gap measurement method. The gap measurement device is used for a wound battery cell (1), and in a height direction (P1) of the wound battery cell (1), the wound battery cell (1) comprises a wound body (10) and tabs (12) which are connected to each other. The gap measurement device (2) comprises an X-ray source (20) and an X-ray detector (22) which are arranged opposite, and a bearing mechanism (24) located between the X-ray source (20) and the X-ray detector (22). The bearing mechanism (24) comprises at least one accommodating groove (240), the accommodating groove (240) is used for accommodating the wound battery cell (1), and the height direction (P1) of the wound battery cell (1) intersects with a first direction (L1) in which the X-ray source (20) points to the X-ray detector (22). The X-ray source (20) is used for irradiating arc-shaped areas (106) of the wound body (10). The X-ray detector (22) is used for obtaining formed images of the irradiated arc-shaped areas (106), so that a gap value between two electrode sheets in the arc-shaped areas (106) is obtained on the basis of the formed images. The gap value between the two electrode sheets of the would battery cell (1) is simply and efficiently measured.
